Session Thoughts?
So after talking last night about PodCamp London 2010 with Nick Wynja (sounds like Ninja, sorta) and Jeremy Klaver (for some reason I always think his last name is Kevlar) I started thinking of a possible session I could give at PodCamp.
While I am still on the fence about it and want to see what other people propose, I thought I would throw out an idea I was having.
Crowdsourcing: FROM the Community FOR the Community
This session will try to answer the basic questions of What is crowdsourcing? Why is it important? What has it done in the past?
By looking at how crowdsourcing turned 1 simple project into 100 community ideas into 1000 conversations, this session will (hopefully) spark some interest of how you can take advantage of crowdsourcing to fuel your ideas.
Focusing on the “100 Ways” (yes I named it, I am a geek) this session would focus very little on the business side and more on everything else, why? because that’s what I know.
So, do you think there is some value in a session like this? Would you benefit? Why/Why Note? What other suggestions do you have?
